BKM-33550
The Access Progesterone assay is a paramagnetic particle, chemiluminescent immunoassay for the quantitative determination progesterone levels in human serum and plasma using the Access Immunoassay Systems.
Assay Features | • 30-minute time to first result—reduces critical waiting time for physicians and patients • Wide reportable range of 0.1-40 ng/mL (0.32-127.2nmol/L) reduces the need for sample dilution creating laboratory efficiencies • Small sample volume (20 μL) allows less blood to be collected from patients being screened over multiple days • Calibration stability of 28 days |

The Access Progesterone assay is a paramagnetic particle, chemiluminescent immunoassay for the quantitative determination progesterone levels in human serum and plasma using the Access Immunoassay Systems. Both men and women produce low levels of progesterone, a steroid hormone in the adrenal cortex. Progesterone is important, not only as a hormone, but also as the precursor of the estrogens, androgens, and adrenocortical steroids.
